A Christmas Cracker for a great cause

 

An hour long collaborative concert of top quality Mayo-based artists/performers recorded on the stage of the Westport Town Hall Theatre as a fundraiser for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will be streamed online on Friday 18th December at 8pm and will be available to view all over the Christmas period. While the concert itself will be free to watch online, viewers will be invited to consider making a donation to what is the largest voluntary charitable organisation in the country.

The absolute stellar line up for this very special concert includes Matt Molloy of the Chieftans, Des Cafferkey, Peter Molloy, CODA, Anne Marie Gibbons The Cresham Academy of Dancing, Schola Cantorum Basilicae (Knock), Irish novelist and short-story writer Mike McCormack and Harpist Laoise Kelly. The concert will run for approximately 1 hour.  
 

The Concert will go live at 8pm on Friday, December 18th and will be available to view on this page or Westport Town Hall Theatre's Youtube Channel and other Social Media all over the Christmas. Donations can be made online via the link below or there are special donation envelopes available at St. Mary's Church, The Mall or Town Hall Theatre, The Octagon, Westport.
