After two sell-out concerts in December 2016, internationally renowned Mezzo Soprano Anne Marie Gibbons is back for Festive Harmony and will be joined by Baritones David Durham, Ronan Egan, The Cresham Academy of Irish Dancing, the Brackloon National School Choir, pianist Aoife O’Sullivan and some very special guests to present a varied programme including dance, popular classical and musical theatre favourites.

Mayo-born and based Anne Marie Gibbons appears regularly with both the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra. She is a former English National Opera Company Principal and her many international credits include performances in Paris, Adelaide, Lausanne and Covent Garden, London.

Baritone David Durham, equally at home on stage both as an actor and singer, has made several appearances in BBC and ITV productions taking lead roles in Merlin, Casulty, Doctors and Touch of Frost.  He frequently appears in London, around the UK and in Ireland where he has made his second home.

Baritone Ronan Egan has come to prominence in the West of Ireland in recent years taking the lead male roles in a number of musical theatre productions including Fiddler on the Roof, South Pacific and more recently White Christmas.    Recent concert performances include appearances in the National Concert Hall Dublin.

The Cresham Academy of Irish Dancing has a strong presence around Louisburgh, Westport and Castlebar catering for children and adults at all levels.  Bernadine and Louise Cresham, Directors, are vastly experienced and their names are synonomous with success in the world of Irish Dancing.  The Cresham Academy is renowned not only for turning out championship winning dancers but also for teaching every dancer to the best of their individual ability.

The Brackloon National School Choir, a very talented group of children, directed by Kathy Quinn, took part in the National Children’s Choir earlier on this year in the National Concert Hall Dublin.

Pianist for the concerts will be the very versatile Dublin based Aoife O’Sullivan.
